Special Exhibit: ‘Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs’
Ramses the Great, pharaoh and purported living god, triumphs at the Battle of Kadesh. This, and many other ancient artworks on loan from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, may be viewed at San Francisco's de Young Museum (the exhibit is scheduled to close on Feb. 12th).
